That moment when I realized I actually know how to paint a swan :)

Photography has always been dear to me because I managed to capture a moment of interaction. Furthermore, while painting it, I also managed to process some of my own traumas left behind by authoritarian parents :)

The painting thus became a kind of monument to all of us who had to learn the hard way how to overcome situations where we silently bowed our heads before bullies and authorities—those who had the power to protect us, but chose to remain silent.

By the way, the painting was sold unexpectedly. Based on that piece, the client ordered five more new paintings. And no, it’s not about the money. It’s about victory.
